1.Who can travel?
Ans: Anyone above age 50, who is fit and healthy can travel.
2.Are the Travel dates flexible?
Ans: The dates are fixed and can be changed /cancelled /rescheduled only at the discretion of TOTC or in case a required group size number is not met. We suggest travellers to book refundable tickets. Also, the itinerary is tentative as there can be some modifications based on unforeseen circumstances like renovation, weather forecast etc.
3.Will there be healthcare support during the trip?
Ans: We will ensure that all safety measures are taken while travelling and we will ensure that the place of stay is in close proximity to a hospital/healthcare centre.
4. What about the food?
Ans: TOTC will be taking care of 3 meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (veg and non-veg) as mentioned in the itinerary. However, if anyone needs beyond the mentioned, it will be at their own cost. Alcohol/drinks etc will not be part of the meals. In case there is a special request for food in case of emergency sickness, we will try our best to fulfil the same with available resources.
5. What should I pack?
Ans: The month of July falls within Sri Lanka's tourist season and has a comfortable climate with comfortable cotton clothing requirements. Walking shoes for walks should be good. A detailed checklist will follow.
6. What kind of accommodation will be provided?
Ans: We will be staying in 4 star hotels/resorts on a twin-sharing basis. We will ensure the room allocation to same-gender travellers, however, the availability of the twin beds will be as per the situation.
7. Are all the activities and entrance tickets paid for?
Ans: All the mentioned activities and entrance tickets as per the itinerary are included.
8. How can I get a Visa & Insurance for Sri Lanka?
Ans: Indians travelling to Visa require Visa, TOT-C will be getting it done. We will also be getting the Insurance done, for anyone age 70 above, there will be an extra insurance charge of Rs.1000 per person.
9. When should I reach Sri Lanka?
Ans: It will be ideal if you reach Colombo before 1 p.m. (We can suggest flight timings).
