South Korea Visa Documents Checklist: Everything You Need for Your Appointment
Planning a trip to South Korea? Before you can book that KTX ride to Busan or plan your Seoul street food tour, there's one important step to get right first: the visa application. A large number of visa delays and rejections happen not because of eligibility issues, but simply because of incomplete or incorrectly prepared documentation.
To make this easier, we've put together a complete checklist of the documents you'll need for your South Korea visa appointment, organized by category, so you know exactly what to prepare and what applies to your specific situation.
Before You Start
A few general pointers to keep in mind while gathering your documents:
Carry both originals and self-attested photocopies for each document, unless stated otherwise.
Requirements can change from time to time, so it's a good idea to reconfirm the latest checklist with the Korean Visa Application Centre or Embassy shortly before your appointment.
Keep your documents arranged in the same order as your checklist as it makes the appointment process much smoother.
1. Passport
-->Old passport(s), if you have any . This serves as useful as proof of prior travel history.
-->Current original passport with photocopies of the first and last (data) pages. Your passport must have a minimum of 3 blank pages and remain valid for at least 6 months from your date of travel.
2. Visa Application Form: This is an online visa application form which is generated from Korean Visa Site (Link at the end) . There your would have to first create a login id in order to generate an online application form.
